DEPRAG USA is actively searching for an engineering technician in the
Dallas/Fort Worth area for immediate, full-time hire. This is a multi-faceted position which includes the following responsibilities:
- Perform incoming inspection, repair, and calibration of complex industrial screwdriving and assembly systems
- Read schematics and diagrams to determine how to assemble parts, machines, and other equipment
- Use specialized instruments and calibration equipment to ensure assemblies meet specifications
- Analyze and record test results, prepare written documentation
- Operate, test and maintain robotic equipment
- Communicate with parent company’s service department in Europe
- Maintain calibration lab in clean, orderly manner
- Be willing and able to travel on short notice to a customer’s site to perform field calibration and/or to train customer’s personnel
- Assist in packaging and crating shipments, including loading/unloading shipments from trucks using a forklift
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills & experience:
- Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical equipment at a previous position
- Great attention to detail and self-driven
- Ability to multitask & prioritize with only minimal managerial oversight
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office – Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
- Experience with bench and automated test equipment
- Experience with PLC ladder logic as well as statement programming
