Effective immediately, the size-1 Screwdrivers have been
redesigned and revised to bring this series to include the same internal and
external advantages as the previously redesigned size-2 tool series. Many
new components and features have been integrated, including but not limited
to:

Same clutch system as the size-2
tools, equipped with 3 balls to even further increase torque accuracy and
to reduce wear

Reduced gear tolerances, which
optimize their engagement behavior, increase the lifespan, especially when
using tools without lubrication (oilfree)

Increased length of housing to allow
an better field of vision and engagement of bit to fastener
-
The housing shape was improved to
assure less fatigue of user, when operating tool in the upper torque range.

Quick change chuck now corresponds
to the DEPRAG standard

Accessories of size-2 tools now also
fit the new size-1 tools
-
Vacuum chamber is still an
integrated part of the screwdriver, allowing the suction of screws into a
finder, if tool is equipped with a finder connection-set and hooked up to a
vacuum source.
Naturally, the most important
feature is the DEPRAG guaranteed
+/- 3%s torque accuracy.
The new Minimat-F, size-1
Screwdriver is now equipped with a valve plate that is sensed directly,
which eliminates the use of an additional holding bracket for a screwdriver
stand or a specially designed exhaust hose. The reduced noise level now
corresponds to our standard size-1 screwdrivers. Another new item is that
the “reverse” option is again available. This new, reversible size-1 tool
will connect to the standard Minimat-F controller FC10, supplied since
middle of 2004. When replacing older tools, it is necessary for the FC10 to
undergo a software update; this service is available at DEPRAG at a nominal
fee.
The new Minimat-Z, size-1
Screwdriver that is designed for the attachment to a Screwfeeder, has now a
longer housing as well. The tools’ clutch bearing does no longer have to be
removed to change the bit or to reset the torque.
