New screw presenter model 1211-ES-K by Lori A Logan
General info: With
this type of screw presenters, DEPRAG has widened its product range. The
operator can use a magnet bit or vacuum system to pick-up the screws near the
assembly position and pull them towards the workpiece. When removing a screw,
a micro switch releases a “reload” signal to present the next screw to the
pick-up position. The
screw presenter’s housing is made from stainless steel. The slim design
allows the installation of several of these presenters on one working area.
On the rear side of the device are adjustment buttons for frequency,
amplitude and operating duration. The whole unit is slightly more robust and
heavier than the current SG 1211-ES version. Use: This
screw presenter is suited for applications where the use of a complete Screwfeeding
machine is not economical or where
the volume does not justify such an investment. One difference, when compared
to the currently offered screw presenters, is that this new line of
screw-presenters can be used for screw shaft diameter of as low as 1.0 mm
[0.039-inches]. Actually, the new guide rails are available for shaft diameters of 1.0 [0.039-inches] and
1.2 mm [0.047-inches]. Accessories: The
equipment of this new type 1211-ES-K is NOT compatible with the
already existing 1211-ES. Please refer to the respective DEPRAG part numbers
for the 2 available basic units and the available 8 guide rails [below]. For
each screw presenter, one guide rail and one power unit is necessary and
needs to be selected.
Technical data:
Availability: This series of screw presenter will be available within
4 - 6 weeks. In the future, this new model will replace the existing
presenter up to a screw shaft dia. of 3 mm. Once existing stock has been used
up (probably by the end of May 2007), the new presenter will be available
from stock. Since we have over 950 of the current unit on the market, we will
naturally provide spare parts. |
