New inline high-torque Minimat®-E

 

General info:

 

Another expansion of our Minimat®-E screwdriver series, is the new high-torque inline screwdrivers, which feature an Ergonomic design, push-to-start feature, the well-known DEPRAG non-slip housing material and a low weight starting at 1.8 lbs. The maximum torque capability of the new EC-Screwdriver series can be recognized on the last 4-digits of the model number (i.e.“´0120“ corresponds with 12Nm).  The complete Screwdriver setup consists of the EC-Screwdriver, Controller AST10-2, Motor Cable and Power Cable.  

 

The function of these high-torque screwdrivers is identical to the already known “low-torque” Screwdrivers, allowing a freely programmable assembly process. Within the power range of the three different models offered, it is possible to adjust all parameters such as torque, speed, direction of rotation and much more. The DEPRAG Minimat®-E screwdrivers also offer a “torque-holding-time” feature, which compensates for relaxing joints.

 

Controller:

 

The sequence controller type AST10-2, required for the operation of this screwdriver series, contains all interfaces for handling the system and for documentation of the screwdriving results. The main difference between the AST10-2 and the already known AST10-1 is an improved power emission. The operation for both controllers is the same. The sequence controller type AST10-2 can operate within a voltage range of 115V up to 230 V and a frequency of 50 Hz up to 60 Hz The power cable has to be selected to accommodate the respective national standard (with suitable plug). The standard length of the motor cable is 2.5-meters [8 ft.]; longer cables with a length of 5-, 8-, and 12-meters [16-, 26-, and 39 ft.] are available as well. 

The controller AST-10-2P includes several integrated, standard screwdriving programs for tightening screws to a specific torque or loosening a fastener to a specific angle. The parameters may be adjusted directly via the controller’s keypad.

The most unique feature however, is the integrated web-browser, which utilizes any commonly known browser, such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.  No special software is required, nor does any software have to be purchased. The Controller itself contains all necessary components for a fast, easy, simple programming, installation and hookup.
