New Measuring Instruments and Transducers Measuring Instrument ME5000 with Docking Station: The new measuring instrument ME5000 expands our current product line of manual torque-measuring instruments that are used for torque measurement and torque calibration. This instrument acquires torque values from any of our transducers, whether they are strain gauge-, Piezo- or the external rotary-type. The measuring instrument is always supplied with 4 batteries and charger. The storage capacity is up to 40 measuring-series with each 100 torque-values. If an external rotary-type transducer is used, it is necessary to connect an optionally available power supply to the measuring instrument. The docking station is used to charge the batteries and to connect to a PC or printer. An optionally available RS-232-cable connects the RS232-interface port on the docking station with either PC or printer. Another optionally available item is a PC-software, which reads and archives the data. The measuring instrument ME5000 is the successor to our DME25. Measuring Instrument ME1000PE: The measuring instrument ME1000PE is suitable for the fully automatic torque acquisition on automatic Screwdriving Stations. When connected with the DEPRAG air-operated Piezo-Screwdrivers having a piezo-quartz torque-transducer integrated, the ME1000PE will receive the load from the transducer, transfer the load into an electrical voltage by its highly accurate amplifier. The electrical voltage is then transformed by a charge-calibrator into the corresponding measuring value. Additionally, it is possible to monitor and display the angle, if the Piezo-Screwdriver is equipped with an angle-encoder.
