Additional Information for converting the existing AST30
com-port from a RS232 to an USB-port

In addition to yesterday’s e-mail, we are pleased to announce that a rebuild kit
has been established to change the RS232 com-port to an USB-port.

All AST30’s were shipped with a programming kit, which included the RS232
cable and a CD with software.

If a rebuild kit – part no. 831331 – USD 650.00 is purchased, an USB cable and
software upgrade is included with the rebuild kit. This is an actual port converter,
not a simulator! This item can be used with computer systems, which have no or
not enough RS232 ports.
